d o n e

black grass

burning skies

thorns on the ground

no I don’t bleed no more

cut down everything

I bit in my fears long ago

I ate my self long ago

rules of the wild

I tread without a footprint

they say they still dream

cherry blossom

invisible to the mirrors in the way

faces hung on sticks

I know you

or I used to

you look at me the same

lifelessly

I have forgotten what

I was seeking

you left for

merrier lands

but I never was one

for merrier things

and you, you

taught me to leave

you taught me hate

you taught me unhappiness

you taught me satisfaction

I moved all stones

the meadows are here

merry

I turn back

did you not realise

you made me for bloodshed?
